In Spring of 2016 I had many breakthroughs that has lead me to this path. There was a time of great inspiration that was flowing out of my mind in form of words. I started writing long, deep, inspiring posts and then one day I started thinking of where I have been and how I got here, then my words started to rhyme and I decided to go with the flow. Here is my very 1st poem written in English. I remember writing poems back when I was little in Russia, but those were different days.
This is pure me, honest and true from there to here.
'The Lighthouse Journey'
As I let go of the love that no longer fed my soul
As I let go of fear of being alone As I let go of the anxieties of the unknown
I started becoming who I was meant to be all along.
As I let go of the friendships that no longer worked
As I let go of the things for which I so hoped
As I let go of the need to be strong
I started becoming who I was meant to be all along.
As I let go of all that I used to believe
As I let go of my tears and felt my first grief
As I let go of the need to belong
I started becoming who I was meant to be all along.
As I let go of a chemically filled life As I let go of old ways of being a wife
As I let go and saw my self strong
I started becoming who I was meant to be all along.
As I let go of the need to understand
As I let go and dove deeper into my dreamland As I let go of all that no longer served me
I started to see what my life truly could be
As I let go of all the bullshit and saw the light that was lit
I started to recognized the power that it can emit
I saw the light that was shining within
And as it finally started to sing
I heard it loud and clear like a big horn
I then looked in the mirror
And saw The Lighthouse that was born
